More than just Embossing!

Today, I’m sharing More than just Embossing! I’m using Lisa Horton Layer stencils & & inks to create a Beautiful shaped card. I’m (mostly) using the November colour combo of the month for November to create a beautiful shaped cards with shimmer and embossed texture! Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The Sunflower field Embossing folder and coordinating Sunflower Tapestry layer stencil set is first used to create the inner piece for the card on Hammermill cardstock. The base of the card is die cut from Raven cardstock using the coordinating dies from the Rose Portrait Embossing folder and die set. The card front is embossed with the Rose Portrait Embossing folder as well as the inner white layer. The embossed front is inked with the Night Sky interference pad, the Border for the inner piece is inked with the Cranberry Fizz Swift dry pad followed by the Pink Champagne interference pad.

The sunflower field piece is trimmed to 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ and adhered to the centre of the card. The sentiment is stamped from the More Fabulous fonts set and die cut from the coordinating dies. two extra pieces are die cut from scrap cardstock and adhered behind to add dimension to the sentiment. Stickles are added to the centres of the flowers for additional sparkle and texture.
