Embossing Folder Ink Technique

Embossing Folder Ink Technique

Today, I’m sharing an easy Embossing Folder Ink Technique using the Lisa Horton Fleur de Lis embossing folder and a variety of Lisa Horton Inks. Using the different inks create unique looking backgrounds with a variety of colours. Ad

Visual supply list below.

The backgrounds for the cards are created using the Fleur de Lys embossing folder with different inks per background. The background is embossed first and then inks are rubbed over the surface before misting with water and allowing to fully dry.

Metallic inks are used on the first one with black mixed media heavystock. The florals are created using the same metallic inks with the Ombre Florals layering stencil set and coordinating die set. All cards are finished with black heat embossed sentiments using the More Fabulous fonts stamp and die set.

The next two cards use interference inks for both the backgrounds and florals. The only difference between the two are the mixed media heavystock used for the background.

The last card uses Matte blending inks with natural mixed media heavystock before misting with water. The same colours are used for the florals. Stickes are used in the flower centres for a touch of sparkle.
