In this Video I’m creating a Winter Wishes Snowflake Card. Christmas may be over but Winter is not and I love creating and playing with snowflake Creations much more than actually having snow! I’m using a die to create the background along with Double sided tape sheets and Embossing Glaze and Microfine Glitter. I love creating these type of backgrounds and it was fun to play with the Glazes to create an ombre background. Ad
To create the Background for this card, I added strong double sided tape to my cardstock before using a Snowflake background die to cut through the tape backing. I took the tape backing off around the snowflakes and covered that background with several different colours of Distress Embossing Glaze. I used a heat tool to melt that Embossing Glaze before removing the backing off of the snowflakes and adding Irridescent Glitter. After the card base and background is assembled, I die cut Foiled cardstock with Snowflake dies and added them to the front of the card and then embellished with Glacier Jewels.
