Winter Roses Background cards

Winter Roses Background cards

Today I’m creating Winter Roses Background cards using Cloud 9 interference ink pads. I will use the plates in 3 different ways and then colour all 3 with the interference pads in 3 different ways to create different looks. Ad

For my first card, I used the Winter Roses Background plate with the Glimmer Machine and Hot foiled the image with Aura Glimmer foil on Hammermill cardstock. The layering stencil was used to colour the image with Cloud 9 interference pads in Cherry Bomb, Golden Sun and Summer Garden before assembling the card and adding a foiled sentiment from Joyful Christmas Sentiments.

The second card was created using the Betterpress system for the image. The image is coloured with the Same interference pads as the first card using the Layering stencil but Black distress ink was ink blending around the edges of each area first to create a much more dramatic look. This card was finished off with a sentiment from the All Seasons Autumn Press plate die set.

The third and final card was created with the betterpress using a versamark pad on Watercolor cardstock and Heat embossed with Liquid platinum embossing powder. The image was watercoloured using the same cloud 9 interference pads as the first 2 cards and finished off with a Hello sentiment from the Wonderful Script sentiments die set.
