In this video I’m creating a Window to the Beach Card using 2 different die sets from the Windows with a View die collection from Spellbinders. I wanted to create a beautiful beach scene in the window and chose to use a Hero Arts color Layering stamp set to create it. Although there are a few changes I would make when creating this card again, I love the diemnsion and texture it has! Ad
I love the versatility of Window cards. You can have them looking outside or in so the view possibilities are endless. For this card, I used a Hero Arts color layering Waves stamp set with the Misti stamping tool to create a beach view on the card insert. The Vista View window frame is a great die set with a lot of options. I used acetate in between several die cut windows to add the look of glass. The top window die cut is created with glossy alcohol ink cardstock for some shine. The greenery for the plants from the Botanical solarium die set were cut out of Cardstock scraps and inked with Peeled paint distress ink using ink blending brushes to add some shadow. All of the pieces were assembled with Bearly art glue to allow wiggle room while assembling.
