Using Fresh Picked Labels dies Three ways

In this video, I’m using Fresh Picked Labels dies Three ways. These cards can also be created with other nesting die shapes as well. The 3 cards in this video show different ways to use nesting dies other than just using them on the front of cards. Ad

I love using nesting die sets in different ways. Here, I’m using the Fresh Picked Labels & Tags die set in 3 different ways.

For the first card, I’m using the Glimmering Peonies Hot foil plate with my Glimmer machine using Prism foil on Dahlia Cardstock. I also used a solid hot foil plate with Hammermill cardstock to use up the reverse image to use as a mat. I used the Fresh picked labels die set with Pink Sand Cardstock to create a shaped card base by placing the largest nesting die on the top folding A2 Card base and only cutting through one end of the Die. I repeated that with my foiled images using the next 2 smaller sized dies to create the mats. I used the Guillotine trimmer to cut the edges of the mats down before gluing the layers onto the card base with Bearly Art Glue. I used the glimmering Peonies layering stencil with Picked Raspberry Distress ink to add some visual dimension before adding a Foiled Sentiment from the Curved Everyday Sentiments hot foil plate set to finish off the Card.

The Second Card uses the Bayfair Card Making Kit with the Floral Spray Die set. The Fresh Picked Labels die set is used to create a Window in the Fern A2 Card front. The Floral die cuts are used to decorate the front of the card as well as the die cut image inside. A Chip board sentiment from the Card kit is used to finish off the Card in the Centre die cut.

The Third Card is a Shadowbox card created using the New Fair Winds collection. The Card Base is created with 2 7″ x 7″ Cardstock squares that are scored at the 1/2″, 1″. 6″ & 6 1/2″ Mark using the Scor Pal. Those score marks are acordion folded to be attached later to create the card base. On one of the Card base pieces, the Fresh picked Labels die set was used to cut a Window. That same die and one a size larger were then used to create a die cut piece to frame the window out of Cosmic Sky Cardstock. The rest of the Card was decorated with Die cuts from the Oh Buoy!, Set Sail and the Guiding Light die set. The card front and back were attached together using strong double sided tape.
