Use your Press Plates for Gelli Printing

In todays video I’m sharing some simple and Fun ways to Use your Press Plates for Gelli Printing. I’m using Distress inks for the Techniques in the video because they are very easy to use with Gelli Plates and also very easy to clean off your Press Plates. The distress inks work well on the betterpress plates and I love the look created with them and the blended inks.

For all the Cards I will be using the New Betterpress Spring Release from Spellbinders Paper Arts. Spellbinders kindly sent me these items to create with and share with you. I had so many different ideas when it came to how I wanted to create with them it was hard to narrow it down! For these cards I will be using the New Cosmos Backdrop Press plate as well as the New You are Everything Sentiments Betterpress plate and die set.

To create the Gelli Prints with the Betterpress plates I used both the 5″x7″ Gelli plates as well as my Betterpress system with the Press Plates. I created a bunch of prints at once on index cardstock and then chose my favourite prints to then create 6 cards with. Using the Press plates with Gelli Plates is yet another way to create with them. I’m using Distress inks but you could also use Oxide inks as well and they clean off very easily from the plates once you are done your Gelli Printing session.
