Use Ink Pads to colour Stamped Images

In this video, I’m sharing a simple way to use ink pads to colour stamped images. In thinking of a different Technique to use to colour the adorable “This Tall” stamped image from Spellbinders Paper Arts and House Mouse Designs, I decided to try using ink pads. I will be using masking sheets to mask off different areas of the Stamped image and then ink blending the open area. The hardest part of this technique is cutting out your stamped image from the masking sheet. The more precise you are with your detail cutting, the better the result.

#ad Thank you to Spellbinders Paper Arts for sending me the Stamps from the House Mouse Every Day collection to create with and share with you on my Socials. The This Tall stamp is part of the House Mouse Every Day Collection over at Spellbinders Paper arts. This is a collection of adorable House Mouse Designs stamps that are in collaboration with Spellbinders. I love that there are also sentiments included with this adorable Mouse image.

I used Masking sheets to stamp the Mouse image on with Permanent Stazon Ink and then fussy cut the different areas to mask off different sections while ink blending different areas. The final result is an image with a very smooth blended colouring. The masking could also be done with printer paper and removeable adhesive.
