Unique ways to use the Spring Felt collection

Unique ways to use the Spring Felt collection

Today, I’m sharing Unique ways to use the Spring Felt collection from Spellbinders. This is a companion collection to the Fergus the Gnome collection that was released in the fall and is perfect for creating a Fergus with a Spring look as well as a Felt Egg. I’m using felt in come of my creations but am also using the collection to create a card as well as some mini cards for more versatility! Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The first project is the Felt egg using the 3D Eggs & Flowers die set. Different colours of felt were used from the Classic Pooh, Neutral and Holiday felt collections and the egg was stitched together using DMC floss with DMC tapestry needles.

Next I created a card using dies from the 3D Eggs & Flowers die set using the dies with cardstock. The die cut pieces were ink blended with Fruit Salad and Magic Garden Interference ink before stitching the leaf dies using DMC floss. The card is assembled and a simple Heat embossed sentiment using the Everyday Sentiment strips 2 stamp set from Hero Arts. This same set is used for the sentiments for the mini cards.

Next I used the Spring Embellishments die set with cardstock to create some mini cards. The pieces are die cut from cardstock and imk blended with interference inks for added shimmer. Once assembled, stickles add a little extra texture and sparkle.

The last project uses the 3D Eggs & flowers die set with Felt to create a Shadowbox frame with lots of fun texture. The Background is created using the From Ink to Petal Press & Foil plate of the month for February 2026. The image and sentiment are foiled with Aura Glimmer foil onto Hammermill cardstock before die cutting the senitment and ink blending the background. The felt flowers and greens are added to the background using Bearly art glue before drying and adding to the Shadowbox frame.
