Before creating any cards, the Frogs were stamped from the Toadally Awesome Birthday stamp set and heat embossed with Peeled paint distress glaze. The backgrounds were watercoloured freehand using a variety of distress ink refill. The frogs were also watercoloured with distress inks. Glossy accents were used on the frog eyes and then fussy cut when completely dry.
The Sentiment on the first card is heat embossed to the top using Walnut Stain distress glaze. Mini action Wobbles are used to add both frogs to the front of the card. The action wobbles can lie flat inside an envelope and will pop up and wobble when you pull the card out.
The second card uses the Slide & spin die set to die cut the semi circle channel in the card background. The Sentiment is heat embossed on the card background using Walnut stain distress glaze. A snap ‘n spin is put in the channel and the frog is attached to us using a sticky spot. The piece that is die cut from the background is glued onto the card matt in the spot that the opening will be over it when assembled. Double thick foam tape is used to add the card front to the matted card base.
