In this video, I’m using the Thank you Blooms Registration Press plate on a Dark background with Interference inks. I love how this press plate set looks on the dark background. The interference inks look beautiful together on that dark background and it’s a big difference to using it on a light background. Ad
I love how easy the Thank You Blooms Registration plate was to use in the last video I created with it. I wanted to try it out on Dark cardstock using my favourite Cloud 9 interference ink pads and was NOT disappointed. I used Sweet Treat, Peacock Tails & Lavender Fields for the flowers and greenery and then used my Embossing powder tool on the image before using the Fruit Salad Interference pad on the Thank you sentiment. I had intended to to use Clear Embossing powder on the sentiment but it ended up appearing too close in colour to the leaves, so I Heat Embossed it with Gold Embossing powder before trimming the image piece down. I used that same Gold EP on the outer edges of the matte so that it would coordinate perfectly. Once the Image and matte were added to the card base, I finished off each flower with dots of Platinum stickles in the centre for some sparkle.
