Before creating any cards, The sentiments were created using the Summer Solstice Garden Sentiments press plate and die set. The press plate was inked with Versamark ink and after pressing, the sentiment were heat embossed with Gold embossing powder and then die cut with the coordinating die set. The flowers for all cards were shaped and sculpted with Stylus’ of different sizes.

The first card is created using the Cosmos die set with Blush, Dahlia, Wild Berry and Rainforest cardstock. The die cut flowers were inked in the centres with Distress inks in Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry and the Greenery was inked with Peeled paint distress ink. The background is embossed with the Soaring 3D embossing folder and lightly inked in the centre with Peeled Paint distress ink. Stickles were added to the tips of the flower centres for a little extra sparkle.

The second card is created with the Anemone die set. The flowers were die cut from Orchid, Mulberry, Violet and Raven cardstock and the greenery is die cut from Rainforest cardstock. The background of the card is embossed with the Scribbled letter embossing folder and lightly inked with Seedless preserves. Stickles are added to the tips of the flower centres for a little extra sparkle on this card as well.

The third card is Created with the Petunia & Hummingbird die set. The flowers were cut from Pink sand cardstock and inked with Seedless preserves distress ink. The Hummingbird is die cut from Rainforest cardstock and ink blended with interference inks in Summer Garden and Sapphire Gold. The background of the card is embossed with the Petunia Cascade 3D embossing folder and lightly inked with Seedless preserves and Peeled paint distress ink. The eye and beak of the hummingbird is enhanced with a bit of Black enamel accents for gloss and dimension.

The fourth card is also created with the Petunia cascade 3D embossing folder. The background is inked with Chipped sapphire distress ink while embossing the background. The florals and greenery are coloured the same way as the second card. The hummingbird for this card is inked with Summer Garden and Warm Chestnut interference inks. The Gold water color mixing set is used to add gold splatter to the background and also the gold accents to the centres of the flowers. Black enamel accents are also used on the Humming bird for this card as well.
