Spellbinders Timeless Butterfly Collection Cards

Spellbinders Timeless Butterfly Collection Cards

In this video, I’m using the New Timeless butterfly Collection and using these dimensional stickers to Embellish Cards. I am using 3 different sets, showing that they work well with cards create using many different techniques and are a perfect finishing touch! Ad

I love how easy the New Timeless Butterfly Dimensional Stickers from Spellbinders are to use. They suit so many different technques and are available in so many different colour palettes.

For the first 2 cards in this video, I used the Summer day Dimensional stickers and added them to a card created with the Luxe Backdrop and border 3D Embossing folder and coloured with Distress inks and ink blending brushes. The Second card was created with the Cosmos Backdrop Press plate that was coloured using the coordinating layering stencil and distress inks. The centres of the cosmos were finished with Moondust Stickles glitter gel which works beautifully with the holographic outlink edge on the Butterfly sticker.

The second set of cards was created with the Twilight Dimensional Butterfly stickers in mind. The first card was created with the New Timeless 5″ x 7″ Card fronts die set with the scrollwork detail embossed into the ouline die cuts using the Spellbinders platinum 6 with stacking for Embossing a die cut. The Embossed die cuts were ink blended with distress inks using large flat top ink blending brushes. The next Card uses a background created with the Butterfly 3D Embossing folder. The card stock was taped in place to avoid any movement and the folder was inked on the background with distress inks to look like ombre.

The last set of cards was created with the Sunrise Butterfly dimensional stickers. The first card was created with the Beautiful Blooms 3D Embossing folder that was inked on the flat side with a Black Distress ink pad. The flowers and leaves were lightly coloured with a Saltwater Taffy and Weathered wood distress pads to add a hint of colour to blend with the Butterfly. The Second card was greated using the Mirrored Arch Nested Sprigs press plate that was foiled with Holographic facets glimmer foil in the glimmer machine. This coordinates beautifully with the holographic edge on the butterfly. The third card was created using the Peony celebration die set with ink blended petals for dimension and placed on a background created with the Flowers & Foliage 3D Embossing folder. That embossed background was ink blended to create a background that is lighter on the tip and darker on the bottom.
