Spellbinders February 2025 Clubs part 2

Today, I’m sharing Spellbinders February 2025 Clubs part 2. My first video focussed more on the Easter themed clubs to create cards and this one has more of a Spring theme for cards. So many fun clubs this month with many ways to get creative with them! Ad

Before creating any cards, I did a few Magicals backgrounds on Distress watercolor cardstock and let them dry overnight. These pieces will be used for Matt layers on the cards as well as flower die cuts for 2 of the cards. I also used the Wax seal of the month with the Wax seal starter kit and a variety of wax beads to create a bunch of wax seals to choose from.

The first card uses the Betterpress of the month on Distress watercolor cardsock. It is inked with Versamark ink and then Heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Once embossed, the magicals are used on the background. The embossing will resist the magicals. The sentiment from the Betterpress of the month set is used on white cardstock and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Cord is wrapped around the card and a wax seal is chosen and added to the card.

The second card uses the Glimmer plate of the month with the Lavender petal foil on Hammermill cardstock. The sentiments are foiled on a separate piece of Hammermill cardstock as well. A solid hot foil plate is used to foil the remaining foil. One of the pierced dies from the Stitching die of the month is used to die cut one of the layers and then glued to the Negative foild piece. The guillotine trimmer is used to cut the matt around the die cut top layer. It is then ink blended with Bundled sage distress ink and a large blending brush. Sage cardstock is embossed with the embossing folder of the monthfor some background texture.

The third card is stencilled using the Stencil of the month with various distress inks. The die of the month is used to die cut the florals out of one of the Magicals backgrounds as well as some sage cardstock for the stems. The die cut florals are added to the card over the stencilled background.

The fourth card uses one of the magicals backgrounds with the stitching die of the month for the scallop piece as well as the florals. The easter egg die from the Large die of the month set is used to die cut matte silver cardstock from the Silver treasured cardstock pack to create the vase. That same matte silver cardstock is used for the background piece and is embossed with the 3D embossing folder of the month. Silver Nuvo drops are added to the flower centres.

The last card also uses the Die of the month set for the shoes & legs. The shoes and Scallop die cut pieces are die cut from silver glitter cardstock. The card background uses the magicals on the betterpress pressed background on Fog cardstock. With the impression done with versamark, the magicals are dusted on the slow drying ink. The excess is removed and the background is lightly misted with water and then left to dry. The final touch is prism gems around the scallop die cut matt.
