Today, I’m creating Spellbinders Copperplate Holiday Sentiments Cards. I’m using the New Treasured Cardstock Packs from Spellbinders as well as the Copperplate Holiday Sentiments Press plates to Hot foil in colours matching the Treasured Cardstocks. Ad
All of the Cards were created using the Copperplate Holiday Sentiments with the Glimmer Hot Foiling system to Foil the Plates in Matte Silver, Rose Gold and Matte Gold Glimmer Foil to match the Cardstock colours in the Treasured Cardstock Collection.
For the Warm Wishes Card, The Warm Wishes Plate was foiled in Matte Silver Glimmer foil along with the Glimmering snowflakes plate and die set. I used the Sparkling Snow 3D Embossing folder to create the background and ink blended it with distress ink pads in various blue tones. The Brushed silver cardstock from the Silver Treasured cardstock pack was used to create the mattes for the background as well as the foiled sentiment piece that was die cut with the Fresh labels die set. The card was finished off after assembly with Denim coloured gemstones.
The Joy to the World Card was foiled with Rose Gold foil as well as the Glimmer Holly Background plate. The Holly Background was coloured with distress ink pads using the Coordinating Layer stencil set. The Rose gold Pearl cardstock from the Rose Gold Treasured pack was used for the card matte as well as the sentiment mat. It was also used for the Die cut poinsettias from the Christmas blooms die set.
The Happy Holidays Card was also foiled with Rose Gold Foil. The Matte Rose Gold cardstock from the Rose Gold Treasured cardstock pack was used for the Card and sentiment matte. The Mirror Arch Label die set was used to create the Sentiment piece and matte. The Pearl, Mirror and Glitter Rose Gold Cardstock were used to die cut the Poinsettia and foliage for the Card from the Christmas Blooms die set as well as the Parcel and Post die set.
The Merry Christmas Card was foiled with Matte Gold foil. Brushed Gold cardstock from the Gold Treasured Cardstock pack was used for the Card matte as well as die cutting the Poinsettia Bloom for the card front. Poppy field cardstock was used for the second card matte as well as the inner parts for the poinsettia elements. The Poinsettia petals were ink blended with Lumberjack Plaid distress ink for some shading.
The Believe card was foiled with Matte Gold cardstock on Cosmic Sky Cardstock. Uncharted Mariner distress ink was used on the cardstock to add shading to the sky. Pearl Gold Cardstock from the Gold Treasured Cardstock pack was used for the matte and pearl, mirror and glitter gold cardstock were used for the die cuts created from the Simons Snowglobe die set for the front of the card. The details on the santa & sleigh die cut were enhanced with a Gold and Stardust gel pen and a dot of Red Stickles was used on the front reigndeers nose.
