Today, I’m sharing Simple Ink Techniques that POP on Black & White using the Lisa Horton March 2026 colour combo of the month along with old and New dies. I love seeing a pop of colour over top or black and white backgrounds and love the look of this colour combo together. If course, I HAD to include coordinating Interference ink pads as well for a touch of shimmer! Ad
Visual Supply list below.
All of the cards used the Same colour palette with a combination of Matte Blending inks in Sugar Candy, Pina Colada & Surfs up. To add a touch of Shimmer, coordinating Interference inks in Fruit Salad, Sapphire Gold and Lemon Candy are also paired with the Matte Blending inks.
The first two cards use the Strips 2 die set to create bold pattern on the background and the inked Layered Anemone die cuts are added to the front of the first card while the Inked Tulip Bouquet die cuts are added to the second card. Both are finished off with Hello Sentiments.

The last two card use the Nested Petals die set for the bold inlay background. The White inlays on both cards are ined with the Matte blending inks. The Third card uses the Bouquets & Tulips die set to die cut white die cuts. Those die cuts are inked with Black soot distress ink and then interference inks before adding to the card. The last card uses the stencil & die from the Large Butterfly set to create the Butterfly embellishment with interference inks. Once completed the butterfly is enhanced with Moon Dust stickles glitter gel and Glossy accents.
