Today, I’m creating Sculpted Paper flowers for Dimensional cards using the New Poets Garden collection from Spellbinders. The flowers are die cut from White cardstock before ink blending with a combination of Distress and Interference inks for beautiful colour blends before shaping and creating floral cards with amazing dimension! Before creating any cards, the Poets Garden sentiment press & foil plate is used in the Betterpress system. The sentiments are heat embossed with Gold embossing powder before die cutting with the coordinating dies.
The pieces for all card florals are die cut from hammermill cardstock and ink blended with Distress & Interference inks. The Greens are ink blended with Peeled Paint & Bundled sage distress ink and then blended with Summer Garden Interference ink. The flower centres for the second and third card are blended with Scattered straw and then Gold Metallic ink.
The first card uses the wild violet die set. For the violets, the flowers are ink blended with Wilde Violet Distress ink as well as Crushed Velvet interference inks. The flowers and leaves are sculpted with a medium stylus before assembling. The Molded frame embossing folder is used with Oceanside cardstock for the background.

The second card uses the Clematis Poet die set. The flowers are ink blended with Picked Raspberry and then WIlted violet distress ink before added Crushed velvet Interference ink. The trim in the background is created using the Ribbon & Trim die set. The wide pieces is ink blended with gold ink before layering with the other trim pieces and adding to the card back. The sentiment and flower & greenery are added to the card after shaping and assembling.
The third card uses the Double and Siungle Peony die set to create a single Peony. The flower pieces are ink blended with Picked Raspberry and WIld Honey distress ink before adding Sunset Pink interference ink and shaping & assembling. The layers for the back were cut from the Fresh picked die set and ink blended with the same colours as the flowers before assembly.
