Today, I’m creating Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti Cards. I’m using velvet cardstock for 2 of the cards because I love the texture it gives to this adorable interactive card but you can also use regular cardstock and he can be created in a variety of colours. Ad
Visual Supply List below.
All 3 of the cards in this video use the Rocky the Dancin Yeti die set in different colours and different backgrounds. The first card has a very simple ink blended background that is also embossed with the Sparkling Snow embossing folder for som added wintery texture. Stickle accents are added to the embossed background for extra sparkle. The inside of the card is stamped with a sentiment from the Cats & Pugs sentiments stamp set.
The second card has the Yeti in front of a wintery stencilled background using the Uncharted waters layering stencil set. The cup from the die set is partially die cut to create a yeti mug for the yeti to hold. The inside of this card as well as the third card are stamped with a sentiment from the Bestie sentiments stamp set on the inside of the card.
The third card is created with the colours of the Yeti inspired by Sully from the Disney movie Monsters inc. The background is also stencilled using the uncharted waters stencil but this time to look like a spring like scene with brighter colours than the second card.
The ink blending for all 3 cards are done with distress ink pads and Glossy accents are added to the eyes of all of the yetis for extra shine and dimension.
