Today, I’m sharing Outside of the Box Creating with the Castaway Glimmer of the Month. When creating my first video with this months Clubs this plate made me think of Fish, Mermaid or Snake scales and I wanted to explore that some more. I thought I’d take you along to see the results! Ad
Visual Supply list below.
Before Creating any cards, I foiled and Negative foiled the background using Prism, Moondust and Satin Pewter foil on Hammermill Cardstock and Opaque black foil on Mirror Onyx Treasured cardstock.
The First card uses the Prism foile background with Regal Grey interference ink. The best Sentiment is from the Classic Sentiments die set and Fishes is created with the Alphabet dies in the Spell it out Fridge die set.

The Second and Third card were created with a Mermaid theme using Opal Blush Interference ink. The foiled sentiments are from the Seahorse Kisses Sentiment Foil plate & die set. They were customized using detail scissors and the Spell it out fridge die set.

The Fourth & Fifth were created to look like snake skin using Opaque black foil. The fourth card uses the foil on Onyx Treasured cardstock with the Mirror finish and the fifth is Negative foiled on Hammermill cardstock. Both cards are finished with a black Heat embossed sentiment using the Misti and Woodland wildlife stamp set.

The Sixth & Seventh are also snake skin inspired. They were created with Satin Pewter foil on Hammermill cardstock. The Sixth card is the Negative foiled pice inked with Black soot distress ink. The Seventh card is inked with a combination of Antique linen, Frayed Burlap, WAlnut stain & Black soot distress inks. Both cards are finished with Heat embossed sentiments from the Little Smiles press plate set. One is embossed with Black embossing powder and the other with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
