No place like Gnome Card

No place like Gnome Card

Today, I’m creating a No place like Gnome Card using the New Dyan Reveley collection from Spellbinders. Dyan has such a fun and funky style and I chose to embrace the bright colours that suit her images so well and create a card that folds to fit into a 5″x7″ Envelope but unfolds to create a scene. This scene can easily be used to create a double page scrapbook layout as well! Ad

Before creating the card, all images from the No Place Like Gnome and Toadstool Tales stamp sets were stamped with Versamark ink and Heat embossed with black embossing powder on Distress watercolour cardstock using the Misti stamping tool. The images were watercoloured using Karin Markers for a nice vibrant result. Before die cutting, I added Stickles and Glossy Accents to different areas to add some texture, dimension and shine. The Card base is created with a 5″ x 7″ Peridot Card base and a piece of 4″ x 11″ Peridot cardstock scored at 5″ and 10″. The large mushroom die was used to partially die cut the back of the card before cutting the rest of the hills with Scissors. The borrom of the card was ink blended with Mowed Lawn distress ink. The Card is finished off with a Happy Birthday Wishes sentiment.
