Today, I’m sharing Merry Little Christmas Cards using Lisa Horton Interference & Matt blending pads & wax pastes. These cards combine the Framed poinsettia Embossing folder and Layering stencil set with the Merry Little Christmas sentiment die set. Each card has a slightly different look and uses different ink combinations in different ways! Ad
Visual Supply List Below.
All of the Cards use the Framed Poinsettia Embossing Folder and coordinating Layer stencil set with the Merry little Christmas sentiment die set. The first card uses Matt Blending inks in Loganberry and Spiced plum for the Poinsettia petals and Silver Shine metallic ink for the Poinsettia centre. The vein detail on the petals were created with Moon Dust stickles glitter gel.
The second card uses Regal Grey interference ink over Black and Hickory smoke distress ink to show both properties on the interference ink.
The third card uses the same Regal Grey interference pad as the second card but uses it over Slow drying white ink on top of black cardstock. By adding the white ink, both properties of the Interference pad can be seen on this card as well. The fourth card uses wax paste in Ice white gold, Silver, Rich purple and Peony pink to colour the Poinsettias as well as the Sentiment.
