In this video, Im sharing a Magic Embossing Tutorial using Interference ink pads with a White Background. I created a similar tutorial a few weeks ago using the Cloud 9 interference inks with a black background and after some comments I decided to create a similar video but with a spin using a white background. I love seeing the difference with these magical interference inks against a white background. It never ceases to amaze me how they look different on a light background than they do on a dark background. Ad
I recently shared a video using the Cloud 9 interference ink pads with a black blackground. I wanted to see how these inkpads looked on a white background. The techniques in this video are similar to that video but with a spin to it. I taped my cardstock in the embossing folder and inked it with Versamark ink using a brayer before running it through my Spellbinders platinum 6 Machine to press in that embossed image. I used Clear embossing powder over the versamark ink and embossed it with a Heat tool. This helps to protect the background and keep it white. I used detail ink blending brushes to add black to the raised embossed detail and help highlight how each of the inks look on Black and white. For the Floating Balloons embossed background, I used Cloud 9 interference pads in Tropical Paradise, Crushed Velvet and Summer Garden. For the Flower & Foliage embossed background, I used the Cloud 9 interference pads in Fruit Salad and Sapphire Gold. I also used the coordinating pads to ink black cardstock for the mats as well as the Coordinating sentiments for the fronts of the cards. I assembled the cards with Bearly art glue in a fine tipped bottle and added Nail Gems with a Jewel Picker for some sparkle.
