Magic Embossing Tutorial

Magic Embossing Tutorial

In this video I’m sharing a Magic Embossing Tutorial. I love using the Cloud 9 Interference Pads from Lisa Horton because they work like magic and sow up differently on White and Black cardstock. Adding a 3D Embossing Folder to the Mix adds dimensional texture to the “Magic” Interference pads. Ad

For all 3 of these 3D Embossed cards, I inked the background of the Embossing folders with a Black Soot Distress background to create a dark background that really makes the colours stand out. The 3D embossing folders I used were Spellbinders Beautiful Blooms, Floating Balloons and Beautiful Butterflies. These Embossed Backgrounds were done on White Heavystock and embossed with the Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine using the stacking for 3D embossing folders. The Embossed images were coloured with Lisa Horton’s Cloud 9 interference ink pads in Teal Twist, Peacock Tails, Pink Champagne and Magic Garden. These ink pads have 2 different colours to them. One colour shows up on light cardstock and the other shows up on dark cardstock. I love the look of them on these embossed backgrounds and the interference shimmer they have is stunning! I go into a lot more step by step detail in the Youtube Tutorial.
