Magic Colour Window Card

Magic Colour Window Card

In this video, I’m sharing How to make a Magic Colour window card using the Froggy Throat stamp set from Spellbinders Paper Arts and House Mouse. The idea behind this Magic window came from a cross between a magic colour changing card and a window card that Jennifer McGuire had used in one of her videos (I’m not too sure what she called it). To go with the theme of the stamp I wanted the frog to look a little grey and sick on the front of the card and healthy inside and came up with this idea to make it happen.

#ad Thank you to Spellbinders Paper Arts for sending me the Stamps from the House Mouse Every Day collection to create with and share with you on my Socials. The Froggy Throat stamp is part of the House Mouse Every Day Collection over at Spellbinders Paper arts. This is a collection of adorable House Mouse Designs stamps that are in collaboration with Spellbinders. This would make a great Get Well soon card with a Fun interactive element to it. Another fun way to create this interactive element would be with a Magic Colour Card but chose this way for something a littel different!

The Froggy Throat stamp was stamped using a Misti stamping tool Multiple times with Copic Friendly ink on the card base as well as 2 other pieces of Cardstock.

The images were coloured with Copic markers. The stamped image on the card base was for placement only not colouring. On one of the other stamped images everything was coloured escept for the frog and on the other image only the frog was coloured. Once the colouring was complete.

The Coloured frog image was cut out and on the other image the uncoloured frog was cut out to create a window. On the Card base the frog image was also cut out to create a window.

Clear dura lar was coloured with grey copic refill to cover the Frog shaped window.

An insert was created for the inside of the card and a sentiment stamped on it.

Both the insert and card front were outlined with green copic marker using the chisel edge.

The card is assembled adding the grey coloured duralar between the card base and card front.

If you watch the video Tutorial, I made a few mistakes while creating the card but show them as well as how they were fixed as well.
