Long time, No Sea Card

Long time, No Sea Card

In this video, I’m creating a Long time, No Sea Card. As soon as I saw the bubbles stamp, all I saw was a beach and wanted to finally create the card I had in my head. It is a quick and easy card and I love how it turned out! Ad

The first step for this card is to Stamp the Bubbles stamp set on Hammermill Cardstock with Versamark ink and Heat emboss that image with White Embossing Powder. I then used a Versamark pad refill to create an edge to the water, brushed that line out on the water side using a small brush and heat embossed that with white embossing powder as well. That step was repeated 2 more times to create waves. I then put the Embossed image onto my Ultra sticky mat to hold the piece while ink blending the water and sand with several Distress ink pad colours. Once the water and sand was ink blended I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Seahorse Garden stamp & die set onto the sand part of the image with Gold Embossing powder as well as stamping several shells onto another piece of hammermill cardstock and embossing those in Gold as well. The were coloured simply with more Distress pad ink blending and then die cut with the coordinating dies before assembling the Card.
