Lighthouse Window card

Lighthouse Window card

In todays video, I’m creating a quick Lighthouse Window card using the Lighthouse window die set from Hero Arts. I used Distress Mica Sprays to watercolour the water giving it effortless and beautiful shimmer. This card came together very quickly and would be perfect for many different occasions. Ad

I love Coastal themed Cards. This card is very simple with the Water painted onto Watercolor cardstock with Distress mica stains using a broad waterbrush and the sky is painted with Speckled Egg distress ink refill. The lighthouse Window diecut is diecut out of Black cardstock with a scrap or yellow cardstock glued behind the window. The black die cut is outlined with a gold sharpie before gluing to the Card base. The sentiment was created with the Let’s Celebrate Sentiments set using the Betterpress system with Versamark ink and Heat embossed with Black Embossing powder before being die cut with the co-ordinating die cut in the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Machine and adding to the Card front.
