Layered Dimension Cards

Layered Dimension Cards

In this video, I’m sharing Layered Dimension Cards using the New Tunnelscapes Collection from Spellbinders. This collection is perfect for creating layered dimension easily in your card making and there are SO many different ways they can be used.

I love the Uniqueness and Dimension that these die sets give to cards. The Die cut layers automatically give layered dimension that can be increased with the use of Foam pop dots or Foam tape between the Layers. All of the Cards have sentiments from the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments stamp set. This set has perfect sentients suited to the themes you can create with these die sets as well as many generic sentiments.

My First card uses the Tunnel Clouds die set with Cosmic Sky and Indigo Cardstock. Before cutting the Layers, I used Mixed Media Heavystock and a Galaxy Tombow Marker set to create a Galaxy background to go behind the cloud die cuts. Before assembling the Card, the Cloud die cuts were ink blended with White Pigment ink. The sentiment was embossed with Silver embossing powder and tiny stars were added to the background with Splatter white and finished off with crystal gemsones and stars die cut from Holographic cardstock.

The Underwater card was created using the Underwater Tunnel and the Underwater Marine life die sets. The Card Layers were cut from Spellbinders Lagoon, Teal Topaz and Waterfall cardstock with Acetate in the centre. The Marine life die cuts were cut from many bright colours of Spellbinders cardstock and added to the different layers of the card before assembly. Bubbles for the Marine life die cuts were added using Glossy Accents.

The Perched Birds Card was created using the inner die cuts from the Underwater card to add an iteresting background. Several Spellbinders cardstock colours were used to create the Bird and Branch elements for the Card using the Perched Birds die set. The card was finished off with a stamped sentiment as well as Spokey Topaz Gemstones in the background as well as Clear dots created using Glossy accents.

The Shooting Star Card was created using the Rainbow slice Tunnel die set with Silver Opulent Cardstock. The star die cut was created using a die from the Merry Mug Creations die set. The sentiment is stamped and embossed with Silver Embossing powder. For some extra shine, the star die cut was covered with Glossy Accents.
