Lavender Lemonade die cut cards

Lavender Lemonade die cut cards

Today, I’m creating Lavender Lemonade die cut cards using dies that coordinate with Simple Stories’ Lavender Fields & Pink Lemonade collections. These two lines compliment each other so well that I used them together for all of the cards perfect for Spring & Summer. Ad

Visual Supply list below.

The first card mainly uses the Lavender Fields Hexagons die set. 3 Hexagons were die cut for the background and lightly ink blended with Hickory Smoke distress ink. The Bees were created using Raven & Beeswax cardstock as well as vellum for the wings. The Lavender is ink blended with Lilac Meadow and Avocado Gold Colour shift inks to add visual dimension and a touch of shimmer. Raven Splatter accents are added to the background before assembly. The Sentiment strip is die cut from the Pink Lemonade stand tags die set

The next two cards Mainly use the Pink Lemonade stand die set with sentiments from the Pink Lemonade stand tags die set. The second card uses the Hexagons dies from the Lavender Fields Hexagons set and the background is embossed using the Lemon Fresco Embossing folder.

The last card uses the Pink lemonade stand dies to create the shaped card base and wood frame around the front. A “chalky” look is created using the Natural Pearl pad from Lisa Horton Crafts. Once the card base is completed, the die cuts are added to the front to finish the card.
