Large Butterfly 3 Ways

Today, I’m sharing Lisa Hortons Large Butterfly 3 Ways using the New Lisa Horton Large Butterfly Stamp, Stencil & Die. I love that this set includes all 3 and they can be used alone or with each other. For each card, I’m using a different Lisa Horton Ink or Medium to create the Butterfly. Ad

Visual Supply list below

The first Butterfly Image is created with the Stamp in the set using Interference ink pads in Opal Blush and Lavender Fields. After stamping it is die cut with the coordinating die. This card and the second card are finished off with a sentiment from the You Make me smile stamp & die set. Extra sparkle and shine were added to the Butterfly using Stickles & Glossy Accents.

The second Butterfly image is created using the stencil in the set with Colour Shift ink pads in Fruit punch, Golden Heather and Peanut Glow before being die cut. Texture is added to the background with the Leafy flourish Embossing folder.

The third Butterfly is created using two dies in the set with Glossy Gel paste. The Gel paste is spread on a Tim Holtz Media mat in a nice thin layer before laying the die cut in the paste and allowing it to dry completely. Once dry, the Butterfly is cut out and extra paste that was spread on the mat and allowed to dry was glued to some scrap cardstock and left to dry and then used to die cut the Hello sentiment. The background is created using the Text Script press plate with the Betterpress system.
