Today, I’m creating some Joyful Candy cane Cards using the Spellbinders 3D Embosding folder of the month for October 2024. This embossing folder creates such a beautiful background you could easily just add a sentiment. Both Cards use the Joyful Candy Cane 3D Embossing folder for the background. This is the 3D Embossing folder of the month from Spellbinders.
The first card uses the Poinsettia Bloom die keeps it very simple and soft with light Pink ink blending and Matte Silver Cardstock accents. For a touch of sparkle and shine Stickles and Glossy Accents are added to the Poinsettia to finish it.
The second card takes the embossed background and flips it over to uses ink blending with Distress inks to colour the recessed images on the Background. Once it is coloured, a black ink pad is used to colour the background. The card is finished with a Matte Silver Glimmer Foiled sentiment from the Glimmer of the Month for October 2024 and Die cuts from the Delivering Joy Sleigh die set and the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations die set.
