How to Create Unique Card Bases

Learning How to Create Unique Card Bases is one of the fun things about creating your own Handmade cards. In this video, I’m using the Simon’s Snow Globe die set to create a Snow globe shaped card. If you prefer Traditional shaped cards you could easily create the Snow Globe and put it on the front of a Traditionally shaped card. But it could also be used to create a Large Snow Globe shaped Gift tag. Ad

The Snowglobe card is created using Simons Snowglobe die set with white cardstock, glitter cardstock and Foiled holographic cardstock. I also used the Glimmering Snow plate & die set with Prism Glimmer foil for a Snowflake Background using the Spellbinders Glimmer Machine. Using the Simons snowglobe die set to cut out the different cardstocks for Embellishments as well as the Cardstock for the Card base using the Spellbinders platinum 6 Machine is a Great way to create both a unique card base, but also a card that has lots of interest, texture and dimension.
