Before creating cards, All of the images were foiled using a variety of different coloured foils and different surfaces with the Glimmer 2 system.
The First card uses the Winter Peace press & foil plate on Hammermill cardstock with Speckled Prism foil. The Solid Hot foil plate is used with the remaining foil and that piece is used for the matte of the main image. The snowflake background is ink blended with distress inks. Opal gems are added to the centres of the snowflakes.
The Second card uses the Festive Evergreens press & foil plate on Hammermill cardstock with Prism and Green foil using the Registration template to get the correct placement. The sentiment is foiled with red foil. The images are coloured with copics as are the pearls to add colour and texture to the image. Glossy accents is added to the foiled ornaments.
The Third card uses Matte silver foil on Hammermill cardstock with the Thanks in Bloom plate. The image is coloured with Copic markers.
The Fourth card uses the Tied with Cheer plate with Gold and Red foil on Hammermill cardstock. A circle mask is created with Masking sheets and distress inks are used to create the Ornament shape.
The Fifth card is created using the plate that comes with the Glimmer 2 system with the gold foil that comes with the machine. It is finished with a Butterfly fro the Bright Butterflies press & foil plate. Stickles are added to the edges of the Butterfly wings for sparkle and texture.
The Sixth card is created using the Thanks in Bloom plate with Gold foil on Black Mixed Media Heavystock. Magicals pigment powders are used to colour the florals, sprayed with water and allowed to dry. It is matted with matte gold cardstock and finished off with a foiled sentiment using the Must Have Sentiments press & Foil plate.
The Seventh card is created using the Bright Butterflies press & foil plate with Gold foil fro the kit. The Butterflies are coloured with copics. The background is embossed with the Ribbons & Seams 3D Embossing folder for added texture.
The Eighth card uses the Window with a View plate with Opage white foil on Black Mirror cardstock for the background. The windows were also foiled with Espresso Bean foil on Hammermill cardstock and coloured with Copic markers before die cutting. The coloured windows are added to the front of the card as well as an Espresso Bean foiled Sentiment using the Signature Sentiments press & foil plate. Stickles are added to the flowers around the windows.
The Nineth card uses the Winter Peace press & Foil plate with Prism foil on Clear Dura-lar. The back of the Dura-lar is coloured with Alcohol inks. A Shaker card is made on a Shaped card base using the Essential Arches die set as well as the Arch Punch & Pierce plate. The card is finished off with a snowman using the Sweet Snowman die set as well as a foiled sentiment using the Winderful Winter sentiments press & foil plate.
the Tenth card uses the Remaining foil from foiling the Window with a View with the Solid foil plate. The background is inked with Scorched Timber distress ink. The card is finished off with a sentiment banner from the Signature sentiments press & foil plate.
