In this video I will be Hot Foiling on Velvet. When I started filming for this video, I had no plans to hor foil on velvet cardstock but decided to try it out to see what would happen and was pleasantly surprised. I am also using the same Pressed Bouquet press plate with rainbow glimmer foil and had intended to ink blend to colour the flowers but loved the look of the foiled image so much I decided it didn’t need anything else other than a sentiment. I love how beautiful that Rainbow foil looks with the Pressed Bouquet plate foiled onto Hammermill cardstock with the Glimmer Machine. With such a beautiful image, there wasn’t much more needed for the front of the card other than the Hello sentiment. I also tried Hotfoiling with Champagne Glimmer foil onto Velvet cardstock and was shocked to discover how well it foiled as well. There is definitely more foil and less detail on the foiled velvet, but it created such a beautiful and elegant image that once again, only a simple Friend sentiment was needed to finish the card.
