Gerbera Daisy Cards

Today, I’m sharing Gerbera Daisy Cards using the New Yana’s Daisies collection from Spellbinders. These daisy press plates are absolutely stunning and create beautiful Gerbera Daisies. Because the press plates can be used in the Betterpress OR Glimmer system, there are many different ways to create with them! Ad

Visual Supply list.

The first card is created with the Daisy Trio press plate. It is used in the Glimmer system and foiled with Matte gold glimmer foil. A solid hot foil plate is used to foil the reverse image as well and that is used for the second card. The Crafty friend sentiments set is also foiled and solid hot foiled with the same matte gold foil. A variety of dye inks were used to colour the daisies and greens before trimming and assembling the card.

The second card uses the Solid hot foiled daisies and is finished with simple ink blending on the background before trimming and assembling the card.

The third card is created with the Daisy shower press plate set in the Betterpress system. It is pressed with Rustic wilderness distress ink. The daisies are coloured with the same inks as the first card and the card is finished simply with one of the solid hot foiled sentiments.

The fourth card is created using the Yana’s Daisies die set with Hammermill and Rainforest cardstock. Press n seal is used to keep the die cuts together while ink blending. The Rainforest layer is glued to the vellum shadow using Bearly art glue. The pink petals are glued on top of the green layer. The background is pressed with the Daisy shower press plate without ink ink and then lightly ink blended to bring out the texture. This card is also finished off with a solid hot foiled sentiment.
