The first 2 cards are hot foiled first with Aura and Espresso Bean Glimmer foil using the botanical plate from the Growing and the Flourishing set onto Hammermill cardstock. After foiling with the Glimmer system, the Betterpress system is used to press the remaining Registration press plates with a variety of Distress ink pads. The first card is embossed with the Lined Circles Embossing folder adding additional texture. All cards are finished with Foiled or Negative foiled sentiments from the Holding your Heart sentiments press plate set. The second card is finished without additional embossing.
The third and fouth card are created on the Betterpress system only (aside from the foiled sentiment but they could easily be substituted with sentiments created on the Betterpress). The modern elements are pressed first onto Porcelain betterpress cardstock before using an embossing powder tool over the surface to make sure the ink is dry. On both the Botanical plate is heat embossed using Versamark ink. The third card is embossed with Gold EP and the fourth one is embossed with Walnut stain distress glaze. The matte for the fourth card is created with fawn cardstock embossed in the Lined corners embossing folder. The embossing folder was inked with Gathered twigs distress ink to bring out the embossed detail. Both cards are finished with foiled sentiments.
