To start this card all of the small elements were created before the card base. The large egg was created using the Happy Easter Letterpress & Foil in the Betterpress system. The Sentiment is Heat embossed with Gold embossing folder before using the die in the set to die cut the egg. The pattern is creatd on the egg using the Confetti color Layer stencil with Interference inks in Summer Garden, Opal Blush, Pink Champagne & Lavender fields. A second sentiment is created and the sentiment die is used to cut it out. It is inked in Lavender fields interference ink before adding to the egg.
The images fron the color my world and Spring Tweetings stamp & cut are stamped onto Hammermill with Memento ink before colouring with copic markers and die cuting. Texture is added to the images using stickles and Glossy accents and allowed to dry. The grass edge die in the Landscape die set is used to cut the edges of the grass before scoring (measurements below) and assembling the card.
Scoring Measurements: 6″ x 6″ card base – score at 1 1/2″ & 4 1/2″ Grass strips: 7″ x 1 1/4″ strip – score at 1/2″, 2″, 5″ & 6 1/2″ 6″ x 1 1/2″ strip – score at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 4 1/2″ & 5 1/2″ 5: x 1 3/4″ strip – score at 1/2″, 1″, 4″, 4 1/2″ optional Cloud strip: 7″ x 3″ strip – score at 1/2″, 2″, 5″ & 6 1/2″
