The New Stampendous Beautiful Background stamps are perfect for creating cards using different techniques with the New Distress Spritz sprays. All of the cards were finished off with a Betterpressed and die cut sentiment from the Natures Botanical Garden sentiments press plates set.

For the first card, I used Distress Spritz sprays in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry to fully cover the Distress Mixed Media Heavystock. The background for the second card was created by dipping another piece of Mixed media heavystock in the excess spray that was on my work surface. When that spray had dried, I ink blended the background on an ultra sticky mat using large ink blending brushes in the same Distress ink pad colours as the sprays. With both backgrounds finished, I used my misti stamping tool to stamp the Agapanthus stamp in versamark ink and Heat Embossed it with black embossing powder.

The Floral card is created with the Floral Garden background embossed in Gold Embossing Powder on Distress watercolour cardstock. It is watercoloured with different Distress ink Refills before adding some watercolouring with Distress spritz colours in Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet to add some shimmer to the florals. The edges of the watercoloured piece as well as the betterpressed sentiment are finished with Gold EP.

The Leaf card is created with the Leafy Lines Background stamp embossed with Silver EP on Black Watercolour cardstock. The leaves are watercoloured with Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint and Peacock Feathers distress watercolor crayon before being watercoloured with Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint and Peacock Feathers Distress Spritz. Those same distress Spritz colour were used to add splatter to the background as well.

The last card was created using the Streamers background stamp. The first stamping of the streamers were created using Uncharted Mariner, Twisted citron, Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmelade distress spritz spray directly on the stamp before stamping on distress watercolor cardstock. Then the stamp was cleaned and stamped with Uncharted Mariner, Twisted citron, Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmelade distress pads before stamping over top of the stamped ink with the sprays again and then embossed with Clear Embossing powder before assembling the card.
