Dimensional Floral Cards

Dimensional Floral Cards

Today I’m creating Dimensional Floral Cards with the New Natures Botanical collection from Spellbinders. This collection is fantastic for creating dimensional floral cards and creating that dimension is easy using the Ultimate tool kit from Susan’s Garden. Ad

For the First 2 cards I created a distress background using different distress ink pads and distress oxide pads on mixed media Heavystock. The Hydrangea die set was used to die cut the flowers and other pieces needed to create the Hydrangeas & Lilacs. I used the Ultimate tool kit to shape the flowers and leaves before assembly. The centres of the Hydrangeas were finished with a dot of Stickles and the centres of the Lilacs were finished with Nail Gems. The sentiments for all cars were created using the Betterpress system and Nature’s Botanical garden sentiments press plates.

The Third card was created with the Azalea and Garden Pot die set. The pieces were ink blended with distress ink pads using the Altenew Ultra sticky mat before shaping and gluing the florals and card. The detail on the ladybugs was added using a copic marker and shine was added with Glossy accents. The stamens on the flowers were finished with some stickles for sparkle.

The fourth card was created with the Landscape Rose die set and the background was embossed with the Natures Botanical wreath 3D embossing folder. The florals and embossed background were ink blended with distress inks before assembly. The centress of the flowers were finished with a touch of stickles.
