Today, I’m sharing Die Cut Cards with Texture, Dimension & Movement using the Sending Hugs collection from Spellbinders. Each card has different forms of texture & dimension and two of the cards have different movement mechanisms from Pear Blossom press. Interference inks are also used to add beautiful shimmer and colour to both die cuts and the backgrounds. Ad
Visual Supply list below.
The first card uses the Congrats Cat die set. The cat is cut from velvet cardstock for added texture. The Puffy hearts embossing folder is used to add texture to the background. The sentiment is added to the card using foam tape. Glossy accents are used on the cats eyes and drink for glossy dimension.

The second card uses the Birthday Bear die set with velvet cardstock. Interference inks are used to stencil the black background before embossing and are also used on the gift & sentiment banner for additional shimmer. The gift is attached to the card using a mini action Wobble so that it springs up when the card is taken out of the envelope.
The third card uses the Darling dog die set. The dog is die cut from Black & white velvet cardstock fro fuzzy texture. A pendulum mechanism is created using Snap ‘N spins and mini washers so that the dogs head moves back & forth. The background is stencilled with a combination of Distress & interference inks using the Puffy Hearts stencil set. Stickles are added to the heart on the envelope for additional sparkle. Glossy accents are added to the eyes and nose for glossy dimension.

The fourth card is created using the Puffy Hearts embossing folder and coordinating stencil set. The stencil layers are inked with distress inks as well as interfereence inks for beautiful shimmer before embossing the background. The sentiment is created using dies from the Darling dog die set.
