Today, I’m sharing a Dancing Joker Card using the Wild Joker card from Spellbinders. I’ve used this set already with interference inks to create a Court Jester card and wanted to try using it to creating a Dancing interactive card inspired by many of Spellbinders Dancin’ die sets! I love the final results in traditional card deck colours! Ad

This card was created using the Wild Joker die set to create the Joker embellishment using Black, White, Red and Matte silver cardstock. When assembling, I kept the top separate from the legs. To create the dancing legs, I used the circle die from the Up in the Air view die set to cut a hole in the top of the legs. Before assembling the Joker on the front of the card, I created the background piece using the Post Edge Expression Betterpress of the month and the Collaged Birds Beterpress plate set. I also splattered pearl silver on the background using the Water color mixing set. The legs of the Joker are mounted to the card first using a foam pop dot in the hole that was die cut from the top of the legs. The torso is them mounted to the card front also using foam pop dots. The Joker sentiment is added last, checking with each addition that the legs swing freely. Red and black cardstock are added to the inside of the Card as well as a Dance themed sentiment from the Bestie sentiments press plate set that has been embossed with Silver embossing powder.
