I love the New Timeless Collection from Spellbinders. The filigree design of the dies are perfect for creating Elegant cards to Weddings or anniversaries and can be created in so many different ways. The 2 different press plate sentiments sets in this collection offers sentiments for a large variety of occasions. All Cards were created on White card bases with White die cuts and then inked and altered from there.

My first 2 cards with this Collection were large 5″ x 7″ Cards. I used the Timeless 5×7 Card Front die set along with the Always you Timeless Sentiments press plate set and the New Beginnings Timeless Sentiments Press plate sets. These cards are both accented with florals from the Be Bold Blooms die set. The first card uses Perfect pearls with water in a mini mister to add shimmer to the die cuts as well as the florals and are ink blended with a Lost Shadow distress ink pad. The die cuts for the Second card were coloured with both gold perfect pearls in a mini mister as well as Distress Mica sprays to create an ombe watercolour look on both the Timeless die cuts as well as the floral die cuts.

The Third and Fourth Cards were created with a combination of the Oval die from the Timeless 5×7 Card fronts die set and the Timeless Duo die set. I created a Tag using the New 3 in 1 Tag punch alongside the fourth card using the same technique/style and added a die cut from the timeless duo die set as well. The Third card is created very simply with ink blending using Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress ink. The Fourth Card and first Tag are created with more of a mixed media style. The die cuts were glued down using distress collage medium with a collage brush. They were then painted with 2 coats of Lost Shadow distress paint. Once dry, they were painted with Hickory smoke distress paint and then most of the paint was wiped off using a damp cloth. Once that was dry, silver distress paint was painted just on the raised edges of the Timeless duo die cuts. After assembling both cards, they were finished off using white Nuvo Crystal drops. The sentiments for both cards are from the New Beginnings Press plate set.

The Last Card uses both the Timeless 5×7 Card front Oval die as well as one of the dies from the Timless Duo die set. I also used more of the Be Bold Blooms florals on both this card as well as the last tag. The Card and Florals for the card are ink blended with Gold and Copper ink before assembly. The Oval die from the Timeless 5×7 Card front die set was die cut out of the front of the 5×7 Card and also used to die cut the Pressed & Gold Embossed New Beginnings Timeless sentiment. The tag was Embellished with die cuts created with the same perfect pearls spray as the first card. The Tag was outlined with both a Silver Gel pen and Silver Sharpie.
