Today I’m creating a Love You Valentine Card created with Heart die cuts from a Distressed background and Cardstock Scraps. I love playing with the distress inks to create a fun background to die cut with the hearts. Mica Sprays are a great medium to add just a touch of shimmer for some texture. Ad
To create the Hearts for the background of this card I first used several distress ink pad colours to create a distress background on white mixed media heavystock. Once the background is done, I use differend distress mica sprays to add splatters for some shimmer. I used the stacked tile Hearts die set to easily create a lot of die cut hearts for the background. I love the texture that is created with the different layered hearts in the background. The Love you sentiment is die cut several times and layered for dimension and Glossy Accents is added for Shiny Texture.
