Copic Christmas cards

Copic Christmas cards

Today I’m creating some Copic Christmas cards using the New Simon Hurley Christmas Collection. I’m using simple copic colouring in this video and sharing my favourite ways to add a little extra sparkle and shine when creating with images coloured in Copics. Ad

For all of the cards, the images from the Sketched Christmas and Sketched Snowmen stamp sets were stamped with Black Memento ink on Hammermill Cardstock using my Misti. Once the images were dry, they were coloured with Copic Markers. I love adding a touch of Stickles and Glossy Accents in certain areas to add a little sparkle and shine. I also used a Gold, Silver and Stardust for a touch of metallic in different areas.

The Layers for the cards were cut using the A2 Matting Basics A and A2 Matting Basics B die sets. The sentiments for the Christmas cards were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder before being die cut and added to the card fronts.

For the Snowmen cards, I stamped and heat embossed the Snowflakes from the Sketched Snowmen set in Silver embossing powder before die cutting. I also Heat embossed the sentiments with silver on Vellum. The background for the first card was embossed with the Sparkling snow embossing folder and the background for the second card was ink blended with Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire Distress ink for more contrast.
