Today, I’m combining Press Plate Techniques. I’ve done several Press Plate Technique videos lately and today I’m creating a card while combining several of those techniques together on the same card. The result isn’t perfect, but I really love it! Ad
I’ve done several video’s lately with different Techniques using the Cosmos backdrop Press Plate. I used that plate with Betterpress cardstock and pressed with betterpress ink before colouring the florals with Distress inks and Opal Blush and Regal Grey Cloud 9 interference ink to highlight both properties of the inks. Then I tried to line up the cardstock with the press plate and used the Emboss a die cut stacking in my Spellbinders platinum 6 to emboss the detail which creates so much beautiful dimension. The plate is not aligned perfectly but I love how it turned out. The Card is finished with a Pressed and embossed sentiment from the You are Everything Press plate and die set and a touch of stickles in the centres of the flowers for some sparkle.
