Cocktail Glass Water shaker card

Cocktail Glass Water shaker card

In this video I’m creating a Coctail Glass Water Shaker card using the Sunset in a Glass die set. This die set lends itself so well to this technique and I love seeing the liquid move in the glass! Ad

To create the card, I die cut the Glass from Sunset in a Glass into the main white piece for the front of the card. I also die cut it from Holographic cardstock. A piece of Acetate is adheered to the back of the white piece and then the Holographic glass die cut is inserted in the opening and glued to the acetate. A small craft ziplock bag that is of a good weight and just a bit larger than the top of the glass is used to add some water with distress ink refill and taped to the back of the acetate. Foam tape is put around the edges of the back of the white piece. The foam tape allows the water filled ziplock bag to have some room. The Teal Topaz piece is embossed with the Lush Leaves embossing folder and placed behind the white piece on the front of the card. Once the card is assembled, die cuts from the Tropical flair die set are added to finish off the card.
