I love the New Fair Winds Collection from Spellbinders. I used the 6″ Uncharted Waters layering stencil in this collection to create backgrounds for all 3 cards using Various Distress inks. For the First card, I cut that background into a Circle using the Stitched Edge Circles die set and for the second card I used the New Spellbinders Guillotine trimmer to trim it down for a Horizontal card and trimmed it for a Vertical card for card 3. The Embossed background for the first card was created using the Cast Away 3D embossing folder and the Die cut Embellishments on the lower right are from the Oh Buoy! die set. The Set Sail die set was used to create Card 2 and the Guiding light die set was used for card 3. To create shimmer on the water I used Stickles Moon dust glitter gel for card 1, created a Shimmer spray using Mint Perfect Pearls for card 2 and added small lines of Stickles for Card 3. I love how easy it is to alter the feel of the Card by playing with the ink colours used to create the stencilled background.
