Card Making with Printed Papers

Card Making with Printed Papers

In this video, I’m Card Making with Printed Papers using the Bayfair cardmaking kit from Rosies Studio & Spellbinders. I rarely use Printed Papers when Card Making but every once in a while it’s good to create outside the comfort Zone. I love that this collection has a coordinating die set to use with the rest of the Embellishments in the Card Making Kit. Ad

I rarely use Printed Papers when Card Making. I love that the New Bayfair Line by Rosies Studio release from Spellbinders includes a co-ordinating Floral Spray die set. The Bayfair Card Makers kit includes a 6″ printed paper pad, a package of Puffy Stickers, a package of chipboard stickers and a package of Button Embellishments. There is also a package Spellbinders Cardstock that coordinates with all of the Beautiful printed papers in the kits.

To create the cards in this video, I used the coordinating die set to die-cut different solid colours of cardstock as well as some of the printed papers from the paper pad. The papers in the pad arent very heavy, so I glued them to white cardstock before die cutting to give them additional weight. The first card also includes die cuts from the Mirror Arch Label dies as a focal point before adding the floral die cuts and sentiment chipboard sticker. The third card includes die cuts from the Essential Modern oval die cuts as the focal point. A simple sentiment was added to the inner oval with the Betterpress system using the New Beginnings Timeless sentiments press plate set with Rustic Wilderness distress ink. All cards have a little Stickles added to the centres of the Flowers for some sparkle and the Fourth card also has the addition of a Butterfly sticker from the Twilight dimensional sticker pack.
