I love the adorable Variety of images in the New Out & About Scout collection from Spellbinders. I used them to create some Clean and Simple Cards in my latest video. I’m sharing some Tips and Tricks I used regularly while Card Making as well as some handy tools for creating and keeping organized while reating. I used several different colours of Spellbinders Cardstock for all Cards and assembled the Die cuts with Bearly Art glue.
For the First Card, I used The Flowering Tree die set for the main image on the card but also used the Tunnel clouds die set to create a template for some easy & subtle Inking with Speckled Egg Distress ink in the Backgound. A Simple sentiment was stamped from the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments stamp set using the Misti Stamping tool with Saltwater Taffy distress ink.
For my Second card I’m using the Luna the Seahorse die set. I created a very simple background to go behind the seahorse with a Speckled Egg distress pad by just lightly running it on the cardstock to create a sublte look of water. The Card is finished off with a Simple stamped sentiment from the Typewriter Adventure Sentiments set and Bubbles were created for the Seahorse using Glossy Accents.
The Third Card uses both the Thank You Die set and the Little Blooms Die set.
The Fourth Card uses the Happy Birthday wishes die set as well as the Sprinkle & Grow Die set. This card uses Spellbinders Gold Mirror Cardstock as well as Brushed Gold Cardstock that adds some extra elegance to the look. The florals for this card were finished with a dot of Platinum Stickles in the Centre.
The FInal Card uses the Mushroom Mansion die set as well as the Garden buddies Die set. Glossy Accents were used in the window for some shine and Pale Gold Tonic drops were used for the Door Handle. White Tonic drops were used on the dots of the Mushroom top for some shine and texture. The card is finished off with a stamped sentiment from the Typewriter adventures stamp set in Lumberjack plaid distress ink.
