Todays card uses the Botanical Atrium Large die of the Month from Spellbinders with a Gate fold card base. The base of the card is die cut with the base die from the Botanical Atrium die set to create a window in the front of the card. Partial die cutting is used after the Acetate piece is adhered to the Left side flap of the card to create the window.
Another Botanical Atrium base die cut is used to create the piece on the inside of the card which is ink blended & decorated with the Perched Birds die set. Those Bird pieces as well as the leaves for the inside and flowers & foliage for the outside were also ink blended with several interference ink pads to add some additional colour and shimmer to those die cuts. The Atrium card insert is scored close to the top of the die cut and that piece is glued to the inside of the card to create a hidden area to write a message.
The detail atrium piece for the front of the card is die cut from Kraft Mixed Media Heavystock before adding mined foundry wax for a metallic leafed look. That Foundry waxed piece is glued down to the acetate window. The card is finished off with the floral & foliage die cuts and dots of Stickles are added for extra texture & sparkle.
