Black and White Background Cards

Black and White Background Cards

In this video, I’m creating Black and White Background Cards using the New Spotlight Frames & Florals Collection. The ideas in this video were inspired by the last one I did with this collection. I loved the unique black and white backgrounds before adding the interference ink and thought the cards would look greate if those backgrounds were kept black and white with colourful florals. Ad

I love the Black & white backgrounds of these cards with the Beautiful Floral die cuts coloured with Cloud 9 interference ink pads in Fruit Salad, Teal Twist and Regal Grey. The Black die cuts on the first 2 cards are from the You Make me Smile Sentiments die set, the A Little Hello Sentiments die set and the Stitched Circle backgrounds die set and are glued onto the white cardstock using Bearly Art glue in a Fine line bottle. The other 2 Backgrounds were created with the Spotlight Circle duo press plate set using Black Betterpress ink on the White Betterpress cardstock and White pigment ink on the Black Watercolor Cardstock and then using interference ink pads over that using those press plates in the Betterpress system and Spellbinders Platinum 6 Machine. The combination of the unique backgrounds with the Shimmery florals is stunning. Several of the florals were finished off with white gel pen dots as well as a touch of stickles for sparkle and texture and all cards were finished off with a Hello die cut and accompanying sub-sentiment coloured with the same Interference ink pad as the Floral on the Card.
